(i)                “That this Council have a Civic Reception for Bishop Elect Monsiegnor Liam Mc Daid in September or October on a date when he is available”

 

(b)              Submitted by Cllr. D. Doherty

 

(i)                “That this Council suspend the parking charges by-law, to allow for the introduction of a new 50c hourly charge & a €2 daily charge at Astoria Road, Atlantic Way and Sea Front Car Park”

(ii)              “That this Council engage the relevant government bodies with a view to getting the Bradog River restocked with trout”

(iii)           “That this Council withdraw from the purchase of St. Patricks Hall and the new road between Station Road and Church Road until the dispute over boundaries is resolved”

(iv)             “That this Council take the necessary steps to impose a ban from the Council building on the person who filmed councillors as they left the Council Chamber on Tuesday 4th May”

(v)               “That this Council take legal action against Airtricity, for breach of contract, in failing to repair street lights on the Main Street”

(i)                “That this Council ask the Engineer to select sites available for the proposed Surfing Centre of Excellence”

(ii)              “That this Council get a report from Erne Enterprise (or are they still in operation?) as to their endevours in job creation or new business ventures in this area”

(iii)           “That this Council seek to develop a smart economy or co-op in this area in an alternative field to tourism”

(iv)             “That each Councillor be furnished with a copy of the Gaming Legislation operating in this area”

(v)               “As we have a new Bishop Liam Mc Daid (who I wish every success and I am proud of as a Bundoran Person and most certainly be give a Civic Reception) I proposed that this Council renegotiate  the buying of St. Patricks Hall as I believe we are disenfranchise the Catholic Church in their role and involvement with the youth of this Parish”

(i)                “That this Council pass Emergency Resolution regarding Parking Charges”

(ii)              “That this Council meet with Ballyshannon Town Council requesting the future of the Sheil and Rock Hospitals”

(iii)           “That this Council get in touch with Minister Eamon O’ Cuiv regarding the cuts in old age pensions”

 

(e)               Submitted by Cobh Town Council

 

(i)                “That this Council supports that “Justice for Robert Delaney Campaign” and the recently established website www.innocentvictimsofviolence.ie which was set up by the Delaney Family as a forum of support and information for the campaign and furthermore calls on any citizen with information on the callous crime which resulted in Roberts hospitalisation to inform the Gardai of any such information”

 

(f)                Submitted by Castleblayney Town Council

 

(i)                “That this Council demand that An Taoiseach, Brian Cowen T.D., Brian Lenihan, T.D., Minister for Finance and the Government provide a financial aid package or relief’s for residential mortgage holders and S.M.E’s )small and medium enterprises) who find themselves through no fault of their own, having great difficulty meeting their financial commitments at this time”

(i)        “That this council call on Brian Lenihan, T.D. Minister for Finance to explore the possibility of re-examining the basis on which rates are levied by Local Authorities on commercial properties throughout the Country”
